I have a Cub Cadet model 1415 with a Kohler Magnum 14 (horizontal or vertical shaft) 2 cylinder engine. I have repaired a section of the wiring harness that got burned on the muffler. But I still have 0 power to the dash or any other electrical controls. I did replace the keyswitch, but it made no difference. Neither did replacing the 2 prong fuse near the battery. Which is new by the way. The tractor is basically dead but it will start if I jump directly from the battery to the starter. Anyone have any ideas ?

I have discovered that the entire wiring harness is bad. I have removed it and installed a universal ignition swithch. Everything works great, except I cant shut the engine down. Where is the kill switch wire ? And what color is it?
HELP !
