I am looking at buying a Cub Cadet 2166 I will add a 42-inch snow blower in about 6 months. I mow 2.5 acres that is flat. I just have some farm buildings and a few trees to go around. My driveway is about 200 feet. I have looked at larger used units with blowers (not many around) but you never really know what your getting. I live in South Eastern MN.

I dunno, seems like there are a lot of older Cub Cadets in Minn., judging by the number of guiys buying them up and parting them out there.

2166 is an OK machine, should work out fine for ya. To get into the rugged-use stuff, you have to go up to CC's 3000 series, tho.

Thanks Jim, From what I have gathered the 2000-3000 series is not the junk the 1000-1500 series is. I did for get to mention I am keeping my old WheelHourse 14HP 8 speed with a 42in deck and 36 in blower as back up.
