I have a "CC 1110" and I had the same problem last year...V-E-E-E-R-R-R-Y SLOW FWD and RVS...problem turned out to be...the drive pulley on the tranny...it had worn so-o-o-o bad, that it had no way to grab the belt at all...even when I had the "tensioner" all the way in AND a NEW belt...I had the dealer do the work...good thing too! The pulley had 'seized' and they ended up breaking the pulley into three pieces to get it off. They put a new pulley on and it's been running great since...hope this helps.

Does the cub have a by-pass valve to allow the tractor to be moved without the engine running? If so, check it for proper operation, setting, etc.

First suggestion is to change yer fluid and filter. Use only HYTRAN as yer fluid. Drain by removing rear cover. Clean any gunk off bottom of trans case interior. Be sure it is immaculate before you put cover back on.
