I have a cub cadet 125... i have no manual .. can anyone tell me where you check for transmission fluid and what kind it takes ..thanks in advance ..John in new mexico

You will kick yourself for not doing it sooner. I found the bar lug tires to not press my grass down as much. You will have to be careful not to get carried away and spin them or you might do some damage. I will never buy another turf tire.

John, There should be a plug on the rear transmission cover plate. Use a 3/8" drive ratchet extension to open it. Fluid level should be even with the bottom of the threads as the tractor sits on level ground. Check out the Cub Cadet Forum for anything you ever want to know about CC. Type in Cub Cadet & find a link to it. I am not sure of the exact address.
