What's the problem . . . my recently acquired Cub 108 in in good shape except when I tried to adjust the toe in (1/8") I ran out of threads on the tie rod ends. I have only 3 turns left on each end and still the tires toe out (1/2" wider in front than in the back measuring to the same center spot on each tire). The axle mounting hubs don't appear bent - like from running into trees, etc. Should I weld in a section to lengthen the tie rod or what?

You could buy a used one from one of the parts dealers on the www.ihcubcadet.com forum. I just bought a really good used one last week for my 123 for $5. It came in perfect condition with 2 nearly new tie rod ends.

Spindle is bent. Typical problem. Either lengthen the tie-rod or identify and replace bent spindle.
