I changed my upper drive belt on my CC. The new belt looks the same as the old. The problem now is that the mover deck stays engaged and can't be turned off. What did I do wrong. Did I loop it through the pulley's wrong or what. Help.

I have a CC 1320 as well and my mower deck did the same. I figured out if I lower my deck height to about 5 if the belt is really tight 4 it will let the pully slip enough with the deck disengaged that the deck will stop. After a few times of doing this the belt will be broke in enough you can raise your deck all the way at it will stay disengaged. Hope this helps.

Some of the new green belts don't know when to slip...I put canning wax on my new belts...
When they get older they will slip on there own when released...

The initial design had a fixed length channel between the front of the deck and the front of the tractor located below the power pully. These tractors were recalled and the channel replaced witha shorter one with adjustable "srew eyebolts". If you have the modified version you can adjust the play on the belt with these "eyebolts" by shortening or lengthening them.
