I have removed the two allen set screws from the front clutch assembly. Clutch is really stuck. Shop manual says to work off with two screw drivers...any other advice or secrets?

The small idler pulley's shoulder could be worn down if a plastic pulley, the new ones are metal and have a deeper shoulder.

There are SIX Allen set screws in the front PTO clutch. There are THREE holes in which these screws are located, TWO per hole. If you get them all out, you'll have a much better chance of getting it off the bearing. Otherwise you have no chance. I don't know what shop manual you are using, it should have told you that.

See my other post. I highly suggest you buy a reproduction of an IH Cub Cadet shop manual for your 128 manual, and save yourself headaches. Binder will ship to you in 2-3 days, if it is in stock.
