I found a Cub Cadet 1512 for sale with a 3 cylinder Kubota Diesel. The tractor is real clean and only has 380 hours on it. It appears to have been very well cared for. I'm not sure what size mower deck it has. Does anyone know what year the 1512 was made and what it would be worth?

That 1512 was a followup to the 882 taht was built in 1985. I believe that the 1512 was a 1986-87 product. Very excellent tractors by the way! You should seriously consider it if it runs as good as it looks. If those are actual hours you found a great one. They are very desirable models as they work well and last "forever"! With a deck(only) they bring around $3000-3500 in many areas considering the few hours on it.

Hmmm, the guy wants $3,900 for it so I guess the price is not all that unreasonable. I just need to convince my wife what a great value it is! thanks.

Sorry to jump in here, but you mentioned the 882 vintage 1985.

I too have a chance to buy a Cub Cadet Diesel 882.

It's probably got only about 30 hours on it. Is the estimate you gave about right for this model as well?

Thanks from Maine
