Am searching for a 3 pt hitch assy; or a fabrication 'sketch/diagram plans, for a Cub Cadet 127. Tractor has optional lift arm installed. Does NOT have a PTO.
Also looking for gardening implements. Must be located in SE States; LA to SC; or UPS shipable.
Would appreciate reports of experience using this tractor and implements to cultivate a small garden.

Follow the link to the FAQ #6 on the ihcubcadet forum. What you will see pictured is actually 2 distinct items that are used for rear mounted implements on the Cub Cadet.

The yellow parts: top lift arm (cast) and the lower mounting bracket are referred to as a "3pt". In this setup, the top link does the lifting, abd the lower bracket is there to provide two pivot points. (Note: This is NOT a Fergusson style 3pt point where the lower arms do the lifting and the top link is the stabilizer).

The black parts: This unit is a "Brinly-Hardy" style sleeve hitch. It attaches to the pivot points on the lower bracket of the 3pt and the vertical straps attch to the top link to provide lift. (John Deere has a unit similar to this they call an "integral hitch")

Brinly-Hardy style implements attach to the sleeve hitch by means of a verticl pin that drops into the "sleeve". The Brinly-Hardy sleeve hitch adapter is necessary in order to mount this type of implement, the IH 3pt unit is required to provide lift.

Many IH implements designed for the Cub Cadet attach directly to the pivot points on the lower bracket and to the top link without any need for the sleeve hitch adapter. The only requirement is the IH "3pt" unit

As Jim S has already said, both the IH 3pt and the sleeve hitch adapter are currently being advertised on the ihcubcadet.com classifieds.
