Here's a picture of the 1953 CUB I bought and wrote about last night. I also bought a IH 3260 mower deck. It has a front mounting bracket and a rear mounting bracket with two pullys that look like a cub mount up. Does anyone know if this model mower will fit up on the CUB without a hugh amount of re-engineering. By the way the CUB was orginally painted Red, then someone did this to it. I'll make it right and let you know.

I know this an old discussion, but if you still have the 3260 deck and would sell it, please contact me. I need one!

Thats the mower that I have on my 154 cub lo-boy. Don't really know if you can use it under your cub but if you do I would suggest that you mount an idler pully at the midpoint of the mower on the back side. I think there is a stud sticking up that the belt rubs against. grind the stud weld on the underside of the mower and the stud will punch out. then mount the pulley in that hole. this will keep the belt from flopping up and down and from rubbing against the drive belt that comes from the rear pto. there was also a modification to the spindles. IH made them bigger and stronger. you might want to check with an IH dealer. ok good luck

That setup that I see under that tractor sure looks like it belongs under a 154,185 or 184 Lo-Boy. You need to sell it and get the one for a standard Cub. Bill
