When I turn my glow plugs on, there is a wire coil in the dash that also lights up to show that the plugs are on. this wire has burned through. I asked at the Case IH dealer and the kid that answer the phone just kept going "a what kinda tractor? a B-250, never heard of it". I checked at some local auto parts shops and they, while knowing what I meant, didnt have any replacements.

any body know where I can get this stupid little wire? its not an issue now in summer, but will be once the snows come..

thanks...

Have you changed your glow plugs prior to the problem? If so you don't have them connected properly. I did the same thing and burnt out the indicator in 5 seconds.

Another option is to make one of your own. Find a piece of wire the same size or fractionally bigger and bend to fit. Did that often on our Aust. built tractors that used the same glowplug setup. Regards, Redfan.
