What is the correct gap on a 49 "M" with a Delco distributor? My book is for a tractor with a magneto and says .013 gap. This sounds to tight.

Thanks

.013 is what you set the points on a mag at. Like everyone has said, .020 is with the distributor.

Agreed, set points at .020 for IH, delco or prestolite distributors.
