Hi, I seem to be having the same problem as others on here. The lack of steering parts such as a left side pitman shaft and worn out (broken case). I found one used shaft at a price of 500.00 and didn't even bother to ask about the case.My question is has anyone tried to modify any other steering gear and case to fit this model tractor. I have been a auto/heavy truck mechanic for 40 years an I don't see nothing but the mounting holes that I would have to make an adpter for.The steering arms could be cut and welded.Anyone have any ideas as to what might be similar. Thanks for your help. Dave

Upgrade that tractor to orbital P. S. like the newer tractors have by taking parts from a parts combine(P. S. cyl. and attatched drag link, Steering wheel and hydra-motor, and steering valve(not sure of its proper name. Study the setup on the combine real good and take pictures before you start taking it apart. If it worked on the combine and the newer tractors it will work on your tractor. You can element all gear boxes etc. that you can no longer find parts for. Armand

dang it guys where was all the interest in parts for teh 460 utility a few weeks back, when I got tired of moving the tractor around and finally made up my mind to ship it to the auction,, which ended up being a mistake I only got 450 for the whole thing, I did take the quick hitch and some tin work off, but I should have kept it around a little while longer,,

see my wife never believes me, that within 2 months of getting rid of something, I need that part,,, murphys law I guess, good luck with geting your parts, I hope you find them, pat
