My son was very young when he started, but this no doubt would be considered just stupid. We all like to think of our kids as gifted, sorry the kid is simply hanging on with no idea in he--ll what is going down. Ya just got to wonder if there should be laws against marrin yer sister in all states.

We must give the parents the benifit of the doubt and just try to understand that they have not understood how fast things can go wrong.

EMS 30 years and still holding my breath.

This would all make perfect sence if the little girl playing along side of the tractor was the actual mother of the child driving.

The biggest problem is, people just don't THINK.
On the flip side, if you think too much, you end up sheltering the kids to the point where they either grow up afraid of their own shadows, or hit puberty, rebel, and end up on the wrong side of the tracks. Either way, they can't contribute to society in a productive fashion.

Was putting the kids on that tractor the smartest idea? Probably not. Did anyone get hurt? Apparently not. Could something have gone horribly wrong? Sure. What are the odds of something going horribly wrong? Not too likely, if you ask me.

What those kids did take away from that experience, even if they didn't realize it consciously, is a lesson in responsibility. Mommy or Daddy told you to hang on tight, you did, and you were rewarded by being allowed to do someting really cool, drive the tractor all by yourself.

I posted a reply to the idiot parents, I don't think the kid is more than 3. Sad to say, job security for me, as a Paramedic.

The little guy can barely hold the steering wheel.
Certainly an accident waiting to happen.
