ok guys im new to this so i could use some help. how do i get the front steering rod out so i can take off the radiator. im shure i could get it out by my self but thought i would ask first

The U joint at the center support by the gas tank needs to be taken off the front shaft (leave it on the rear unless it is bad)
Then remove the large nut on the very front of the gearbox. (if oil is in it it will leak out)
Catch bearings and shims if any
Screw the shaft out the front (CW looking from front) If it was not leaking, put Synthetic lower unit marine gear oil back in). If it was leaking, or dryish, Ford Specification Graphite chassis grease, or Mobile 1 synthetic chassis grease, are great leak stoppers. JimN
