Cub n M in OR

I've been hanging around here in the shadows reading posts and getting smarter, but haven't ever posted. Here goes. I've always thought these old tractors were great. I got a '49 cub for my eleventh birthday, replaced the cracked block w/ dad about 16 years ago after a rebuild. It's been a fun little thing to have around. Runs like a clock (most of the time) and is curently awaiting a new coat of paint. Then some time ago I started feeling the itch for something... more... did a little snooping around, here, online and in books. Decided an M might just scratch that itch.
Went out to an estate auction on saturday that had a 44 M w/ a loader...just to look...see how much they were going for around here. Well figured I'd better get a bid number just incase there was some trinkit I couldn't live without. When the M came up, I caught myself shakin that bid card at the auctioneer and nodding when the bid went up. HOW'D THAT HAPPEN? I was just there to look! Pretty soon he says SOLD! And points at me. $650 + %10 buyers fee, $715 Total. Cracked tires. No battery. Pretty darned nice tin. Twindraulic trip bucket loader. And what I think is a factory wide front.
Anyhoo. Just thought I'd say hello. Sure there will be LOTS of questions headed you fella's way.

You may not have felt the pain, but it was nibbling on your torso while bidding was going on! JimN
