I have a 1963 806 gas burner with the IH 381420R91 carburetor. Does anyone know where I can buy a rebuild kit for this carb? The dealer quoted a price of almost $170 which I think is nuts.

Are you sure they weren't pricing you another carburetor. That sounds like the price of a rebuilt carb rather than a kit.

It was for a kit. I told the parts man that was about 8 times higher than what other kits cost, and that for not much more I could get a whole carb. He agreed with me. I've tried most of the major parts jobbers I know of and haven't come up with anything.

I can probably get one for it if you could give me a call I have some questions about the carb. I sell tractor parts myself and that sounds awful expensive for just a kit.
