How does the flow rate and pressure 54 SMTA compare to the GPM and pressure of a 54 SH? Also, is there a difference in the pressure in the liftall system as opposed to the hyd control system? The SH has the two coupled hoses running through and controlled by the liftall rod, and a two way valve on the lightbar.

Gordo, You have some informative responses to your questions relative to flow and pressure. Just a note to share with you about the SMTA. It would not pickup our ten wheel hay rake. A few years ago we took off the reservoir and shimmed the relief valve to open around 2000PSI. It picks up the rake now and we haven't experienced any failure in the hydraulic system. Tom

Both should have 1200 psi max pressure.

The Super MTA should manage 12 GPM.

Super H is around 9 GPM, I think.

Gordo - Both tractors' hydraulics are rated for 1,200 psi.

The SMTA flow is 12 GPM. The SH flow is a bit less as I recall....9 - 10 GPM perhaps?
