My brother's interested in a '73 1066 his neighbor/friend has for sale. Being neighbors/friends makes it a little touchy arriving at a price. Note the following:-approx. 1000 hours on re-man engine -5500 hours on tractor -two PTO shafts -two remotes -rebuilt hyd. motor in steering -TA is soft/going out -rear tires and 9 bolt axle duals (all four) approx. 60% rubber -no rear fluid, one rear wheel weight/side -no front weights -straight sheetmetal, rather faded paint -tight steering, new spindles, new tie rod ends -new front tires -new seat -good brakes and new steering wheel -6 headlights-- two in grill, two in each fender -good grill -mostly new, all working guages -no cab -field ready What would be a resonable price to offer on this tractor? I understand it's generally considered the seller's obligation to set the price, but buying from a friend is a little different, however both sides realize buisness is buisness. We would appreciate your price suggestions. Glenn F.
