Depends on how accurate you want to be. I prefer vinyl. They are easier to install, and since there is no film between the letters, they retain their new appearance longer. The film of the mylar type eventually discolors and becomes more visible. But, if you prefer originality, that's the way it should be.

Got mine from Bates Corp. They are vinyl,and factory or not, I think they look so much better.

If you want factory correct, you can get them just about anywhere, including from me. If you want those expensive vinyl decals, you will have to look elsewhere. The vinyl decals are NOT factory correct.
