I have posted this message in the classifieds, but thought I would try it here as well, as there is a lot of traffic....

NEEDED: IH 52 double reach wagon for repairs. These wagons were not welded together, but bolted. Would prefer whole wagon, but would take rear bolster, spindles, and hinges for dumping box. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. Located in Southern Ontario, Canada... so would prefer to not have to travel TOO far!

Mark: You may have a limited audience on YT. I don't remember that wagon in particular, however I used to compare Canadian and US buyers guides with an American relative. The wagon line up were usually completely different. Very likely the 52 was built at Hamilton and never marketed in the US. Wagons were never shipped very far by mainline manufacturers, they just couldn't compete with local fabricators.

I do remember the IH wagons with the double or twin reach poles. Quite a few auctions in the next few weeks here in Southern Ontario. Just might be your best source. Quite a few auction from Grey-Bruce across the south of Georgean Bay to Barrie in the next month.

Thanks Hugh! I have been searching the Ontario Framer for sales and possible wagons. I was told that it may very well be a Hamilton made wagon, along with the "C" series that came later on.
Thanks again.
