Another question for a Super C. We just restored a 1951 Super C. We also have a complete set of mounted cultivators for the tractor that we are going to restore and attach for shows. We have restored many tractors but this is our first implement and we don't know the original paint colors. I've seen some all red, red and black, and red and blue. Does anyone know the original factory paint job for a set of Super C cultivators?

The main frame was red. The bolt on square tool bars were blue as were the seed and fertlizer hopper moumts. Feet were black as were the wedge clamps except that some open wedge clamps were red until later into the 140 and 240 days when a few closed wedge clamps were blue. Planter tool bars, swords, and pack wheels (the entire assembly) were blue. Chains cast bases for hoppers were often mill finish, but some were blue. The gavanized hoppers could be mill finsh or blue. We had one cotton hopper that was blue and one was mill finish. My uncle had fertalizer hoppers that were blue.

Hi, as I remember our SC with mounted cultivator the main frame was red and the shanks (spring tooth) were blue but maybe the ones in Canada were different.

I was going to say ours was red with gray brackets, but the more I think about it, I agree, they were blue. They were just faded.

I used to cultivate corn and soybeans with a Farmall 230 and two row cultivator. The color
of the main frame was red, with the shovel attaching frames being blue.
