The problem is you've got the radiator cap on backwards, the tang should be at the rear. That'll slow you down something awful...even at the subsonic speeds an good old H is capable of.

If the H was built today it would be miles ahead of that ugly green thing.

Nothin' embarrassing about it. Your red tractor has probably gotten a few extra laps on the track in its 60-year history. So, that green one has a few laps before it can catch up. :-) We'll know in about 60 years as to which one is still on the track. :-)

We had a man in the area that lost his driving license so he bought a big red tractor with ac &
a cab and drove it everywhere even to the barber shop. Hal

WOEII: Nothing embarrasing about that, I have a neighbor with new Deere's, farms spread over 45 miles of road, he needs a good road gear. But remember, I expect you don't have to make the bank payment next month.

I would hazard a guess that yours is yours and paid for and the green thing is either leased from Deere or belongs to the bank for ten more years.

Hmm... let's see here... the guy in the Deere is more focused on getting to where he wants to go with two hands on the wheel; meanwhile, there seems to be a guy with one hand on the wheel of a much older tractor, while using a cell phone camera to boot.

Hmm.

Yeah.. embarrassing.

;)

Well, yeah - I reckon. but, no more so than a new Mustang GT passing a '51 Chevrolet. Best to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges.

Still..... I know what you mean.

What is wrong, two nice tractors, one that set the standard in 4 cylinder farming, and one that coppied the idea of four or more cylinders, later. But I do not get any embarassment component, both are running in the picture. JimN
