I was curious about something and thought I would throw something out..I have a 73 Cub with a fast hitch that I use to plow with. I recently found a sickle mower to mount to the side of this tractor and was wondering 2 things: First would having this sickle mower mounted interfere in any way with the use of my fast hitch. Second, with the mower mounted on, how badly will this interfere with my ability to use my fast hitch plow, if at all?

The drive shaft for the mower runs through the area that the Fast-Hitch bail operates in. Having the mower in place will limit movement of the bail, which regulates operating depth of the plow. You may find that you can't get the plow into the ground.

There is a bracket that mounts on the right side implement boss that the mower lift chain hangs in so you can use the fast hitch with the mower mounted. There is a picture of it in the mower manual. Theoretically you should be able to plow with the mower still attached, practically, I think it would be a pain.
