Brought home a new project a 400 fasthitch w/3 bottom plow bought new together 1954 proud second owner straight as an arrow original paint although faded. Would like to add tach and power steering etc..but the problem with it is the vibration when going doing the road has a deffinate vibration and when unloaded like going downhill the vibration increases if clutch is pressed makes no difference any ideas? Sorry for the long excited post....

It could be several things. To do this your brakes need to work well! If you (safely) push in the clutch and idle the engine while going down the road, does the vibration change?
If you (safely) push the clutch and put it in neutral does the vibration change? Does it vibrate the same in any gear?
The TA assembly, or the clutch disk/PP, could be out of balance.
If it is a steering wheel moving feel at two to three per second, it is front wheel wobble.
If it is in time with the rear wheels (once per rev) it is out of round rims, wheels not centered, or tires that have sat in one position for a long time (flat spots). Let us know. JimN
