Well here is an update.I received a gallon of hy-tran fluid today. It was recommended by the dealer. I drain out the other hydraulic fluid and replaced it with the hy-tran. Needless to say no luck. After a while I did find a weak spot. It started to leak around the connection rood on the d/s. I then proceeded to do a pressure test. I have a 0-200 lb gauge. I placed it on the high pressure side of the manifold tubes. At wide open the gauge only registered 15lbs, 2lbs @ idol. I can see why the lift will not work. : (

Been working a lot on the problem. I pulled the pump off and rebuilt it. It was worn some on the inside brass bushings. I put it back on and the same problem. I received my handbook(Farmall touch control handbook) today. I have come to the conclusion the problem is inside the head of the unit. Well it looks like someone has been in it before. The pressure regulator piston was STUCK! I got it out and there was some stringy stuff caught on the pressure regulator valve seat and ball. It was also missing some check valve bushing seal rings. Some of the control valve rings had been torn (I guess during last install. Well now I get to order a rebuild kit and I'll let ya know how it comes out.

John: Those pumps are non rebuildable. If the bushings were worn, then gears or housing are worn as well. Those gears work on a very close tolerance, they have to or they will not pump oil.
