I found an Eaton power steering pump (1700 IHC truck) & mounted it on my 300. Despite my best efforts to keep it low & close to the motor, the reservoir is too high for the hood section. Has anyone tried making a flange for the suction side of the pump & relocating the reservoir? Also, should I use ATF or Hytran in this setup? Thanks in advance for any help. Sonny

I know some of the charlyn power steering had a seperate reservoir that was plumped to the pump.Pump set near the govener housing and the reservoir was up above pump under the hood.
