I have what i think is mccormick 100 manure spreader. Looking to put new tires on it and have noticed in pictures of spreaders on this site and other sources that the narrow point of the bar tread is usually mounted in reverse on the wheel. ie the narrow point of the bars points to the rear as opposed to a tractor tire where the narrow point of the tread points forward. Is there a reason for this? Also if anyone can provide decal placement info i'd appreciate it greatly! Thanks!

Your spreader is ground driven so the tires should be reversed direction from a tractor. The ground is pushing the wheel to turn where a tractor is turning to push the ground.
