While driving to drop off my SA tires and rims to have sandblasted, painted, and new tires installed, I found this VERY interesting Schramm tractor/air compressor for sale. What a delima, how can I buy new tires and this tractor too?

Greg, this is a Schramm Pneumatractor model 160, that means it put out 160 cfm. at 100 psi. I would say it is early 70"s most likely a 72 or 73 by the looks. If you get the serial number I will get you the year. If you have any questions on this tractor let me know, as I have one and will help you out.

Used to work for the BNSF railroad. WE had someof those tractor compressors, and they had hi rail wheels. You could put the extra wheels down and they would run on the rails. Pretty slick. Good rig. Bernie

Where is it located? Does it have a 3pt or PTO? Gas or Diesel? Stiil for sale?

I reveal the location after I own it! It's gas, three cylinders for the power and three cylinders for the compressor. No three point or PTO, simply a tug unit and a compressor. PRETTY COOL!!

I've never seen one before. Pretty interesting. Those tires look to be in good shape too.
What a dilema!

Call me sick, but this thing just screams "Parade Tractor." Steam whistles, air horns, and boat whistles would be a nice addition.

The asking price is $1,500, the owner said that it "runs good."
