I need a dipstick for a 3444 international standard eight speed transmission or the measurements for one so i can make one

I think the 3444 is more of a real backhoe than the 2444 TLB is. I think you have to go to the commercial side to get parts for them vs the tractor side. But I could be wrong.

If you know how much oil goes in the engine, put in one quart less, run the engine and then shut it off and check it. That will be low mark. Add the last quart and that will be the full mark.

The principle is the same. The operators manual should say how much oil to have in it. That would be the full mark. The add mark would be a gallon lower or about 90 percent.

My 2444 does not use a dip stick but rather the full mark is 6 inches below the filler plug opening. The 3444 might work the same?

thankyou. that might work but all the hydraulics and transmission have the same reservoir. I will try this. Do you know when this tractor was built? it is an international backhoe special mdl#3444. Serial #96422.

Is it supposed to have a dipstick, or is it a level check plug on the side like many of the tractors of that era?
