I work off farm and run tractor on evenings and weekends. Currently have to bleed air out of brake lines about every two weeks. It used to be I'd only have to bleed brakes about once a year. Any suggestions why I have to bleed them so often? Any ideas on how to fix problem?

Cutter, here is a test for leaky brake piston seals from Bernard le mécano who was CIH mechanic and had worked on these tractors a lot.
Bleed the brake system, stop the tractor for 1 or 2 days and check one pedal at the time to see which is the side in trouble. Unlock the pedal to make the test, because, if you press both pedal, it has an equaliser valve in the system. The pedal that goes down has a leak in the piston.

Hi Cutter, chech the simple things first like:
1)Level of Hytran fluid, if loader can over fill by 5 gals.
2)Hydraulic leaks.
3)Clean hydraulic filter.
4) Contanmination of Hytran fluid with other oils from remote hydraulic implements. This can cause foaming and air bubbles in the hydraulic system.
5)Never pump the brakes if the engine is not running.

The problem with these brakes is that the hydraulic feed is a dead end circuit fed by the return line from the oil cooler in front of the rad, so any leakage in the lines or seals causes air bubbles.

I have a 2250 loader on this tractor and had previously found that I needed to fill the resevoir above the normal fill level to prevent loss of hydraulics. I recently replaced hydraulic oil filter to see if this would help solve the air in brake line problem but that didn't help. I thought there might be a problem with the oil foaming but I didn't know how to check without draining and replacing all the hytran oil. I'll have to look at the manuals and see if I can figure out how to access the brake pistons orings as was suggested in the post below.

Check the lines for tightness near hydraulic filter, had trouble with one brake getting air all the time, turned out a fitting backed out enough to seep some. a few seconds with wrench and no more bleeding.

your brake piston seals/orings are bad. I did one a few years ago. the pistons are behind the axles the top half of the pistons are above the oil level in the rear end and the oil bleeds off. if you have an IT manual it will tell you how to do the job. it's not hard if you have the tools.
I am 100% sure this is your problem.
Good luck Ed
