Ok Fellows We got the FFA tractor runnng how ever we can't get it to idle down where it should. Have tried adjusting the screw where the gov. rod comes into the carb . Don't know if Gov. is hung up or we didn't get the carb hooked up on the gov.rod correctly. Hope you can help

Remove the tube that goes from the carburetor to the governor and make sure that the tooth on the governor shaft is engaged with the slot in the center of the throttle shaft. Also make sure your throttle shaft moves freely and does not bind.

check that governor connection its easy to miss the little prongs

When you installed the carb are you sure you installed the finger on the gov shaft in the slot in the butterfly shaft. There is also an idle stop in the govenor,shoud be the bottom screw, also there is an idle adjusting screw where the gov shaft connects to the carb
