What should the compression be on a cold C113 engine being cranked by 6 volt battery? This is not a high compression model (the pistons are flat topped). If it is low, should it normally increase as engine warms up?

Thanks,

Jeff

70-90 or so not how high but are they close together. You will want to watch to see how much the guagemoves on the secondcompression stroke then the third. I like to turn engine over and get three "hits" watching the needles movement on the second and third "hits". no big deal on whether engine is warm or cold.
