Hi all,
I posted a few days ago and said my Dad bought a 1944 Farmall H Tractor. I have been working on it. I had soaked the cylinders in PB Blaster and the pistons came loose today, that PB Blaster sure works good, the engine has been stuck for about 10 years. I removed the head and honed the cylinders and they look good. I can see now that is has flat head standard aluminum pistons in it. I took the carb off and starting taking it apart and I twisted off one if the adjustment screws in the lower half of the carb :( It will be fun to get this one running again, at least the hardest part is done (freeing up the engine).

Andy.

Let me guess. You twisted off the idle mixture adjustment screw, and it broke off flush with the body. Time to get out the assorted drill bits and see how good you are at finding the exact center of that screw. You're also going to need the correct threading tap to finish the job.
