Hello guys and gals i have recently purchased an F-30 farmall. I am a MM collector and only have a few IH's the tractor runs excellent, starts on 3rd quarter every time. The serial #is 7752 all three numbers are the same. The only thing it needs is the bottom of the radiator tank is broke and the previous owner tried to fix it but it is pretty bad. i was wondering if an f-20 lower radiator tank is the same by chance. or if someone out here may have one that will fit. also could someone tell me why some of these are grey and some are red. mine has the overdrive, belt pulley, pto any idea what it may be worth?it was redone 8 years ago in red i was wondering if this was right. thank you everyone

If you need a radiator tank call Alderson Tractor 641-624-2275 should have a lower tank.

Hi David,
Nice to hear you found a F-30. They are nice tractors. Going by your serial number, your F-30 is a 1935 year. I believe your F-30 should be painted gray, IH painted them gray in the beginning and sometime is 1937, they started painting them red. As for the radiator tank, I'd have to check my parts books, if someone else does not help you on the radiator tank, I can check my books. Sorry I can't give you a exact "value" of the F-30, but I know F-30's are getting hard to come by and you don't see many of them anymore.

Andy.

Where in Illinois are you? I have a F-30 radiator that I would sell for a reasonable price.

Your F-30 was gray from the factory.

They changed to red in late '36 to be more visible on the roads. Your radiator tank won't be to hard to find, F20 is not the same. I think yours is a '35.
