broke the fan belt on the 706 LP

I broke the fan belt on the 706 LP after i tried to turn it does this mean my motor is locked up but i did not put a wrench on it i tried to turn it with my hand and i thought it was a little stuck so i pushed harder and the belt broke so is it locked or do i need to try with a wrench first and also what do i turn to see if the motor is free or locked uo pictures please thanks

Well a 706 gasser don't care if it is stright gas or LP and ya break the fan belt then i would have to say SHE IS REALLY STUCK. because even on a fresh motor ya can roll them over off the fan.

Why are you even asking the question? Put a wrench on it and see for sure!!!!

That fan belt was probably ROTTEN as all get out. Vet says you can roll over the tractor with the fan. Well, I says the fan belt would've slipped if it was any good.

We use old V-belts to make lifting slings for when the stupid cows get themselves in places they shouldn't. A single belt will hold the weight of a 1500lb cow. There's no way you broke a good fan belt just pushing on the fan blade.
