Working on a 48 H seat where both ft. bolts are broken off in the tube. Is the center piece that they screwed into removeable, or is that made into the tube? Looks like a bugger to try to drill out what"s left.

I bought one about a year ago from the CIH dealer. 2 dealers stated that they were no longer available, but the one farthest away (of course) had one on the shelf--- came in a cellophane bag labeled New Holland/CaseIH. That dealer said it wasn't discontinued, but that you just needed to know how to look it up. Price was a little salty, but what the heck. I needed it and was glad to get it.

Yeah, it's just rusted in tight. New ones are available at most places that sell aftermarket parts. I've seen them that included the bolts and rubber bushings.

Are you talking about that cross gromet gizmo?

Just did one yesterday. That "tube" has an insert assembly that comes out.

You can get the 6" kit that has the pipe, both bolts, internal rubber gromet and the two smaller outside gromets.
