Is an X1A (low speeds gears) slower than a standard issue tractor and likewise is an X1M tractor with a low, low speed gear slower than the X1A tractor. What are the differences? How much slower is the low speed than the standard issued gear and how much slower yet is the low, low gear?

I understand the difference in the engines, I was just using those numbers in reference to the gears, one being listed as low speed and the other as low, low. Is the low speed lower than standard and is the low, low, lower yet?

"I don't know why low and low low are listed -- they are the same, perhaps a misprint"

X1A means gasoline engine, standard pistons, low speed gears. X1M means gasoline engine, 8000 ft altitude pistons, low speed gears. The engine does not affect the gears. I don't know why low and low low are listed -- they are the same, perhaps a misprint. Someone else can give you the speed resulting from the low speed gears. I believe only first and reverse are affected.
