I have a 560 and want to put a bracket on it for a top link. I have seen how the worksaver design wraps around the rockshaft on these tractors and wondered if that is a good point for mounting or if it puts uneeded stress on the rockshaft? I am not 100% sold on that design and wondered if anyone out there has one and if they have had any problems or if it is a good setup?

I cut a piece of heavy wall tubing in half, put it over the rockshaft, and welded it back togather. Than I welded 2 ears on the tubing to anchor the top link with the pin at right angle to the rockshaft. The only thing I would do different would be to add 2 grease zerks. It is a pain to grease it. I think it is fine.
I found a pair of connecting rods that I shortened up and used to bolt on to the rock shaft of a M I constructed the hitch for. The 2 rod big ends clamped onto the rock shaft W/O inserts, and were held tight by rod bolt force. JimN

Thanks, I think I will go ahead with it that way then.
