Hi folks, could you please tell me the float height setting. The tractor is a 1945 H with an IH carb. The reason i want to check the setting is because the tractor runs fine but it needs 5 or 6 cranks opn full choke to start it and when it is pulling hard up a hill it seems to get fuel starvation. I also want it to start well as this tractor has no electrics as it was a lease lend tractor. Many thanks, MJ

MJ, if you can give me an e-mail, I will send you the float adjustment instructions I have.

I have them at home. You will need a 1/64th ruler to properly measure it.

7/8" is the distance of the fuel from the gasket when shutoff occurs. 1 27/32 is the measurement for the float.
