To avoid problems with the pulley gear mesh (the shims), move the whole PTO from the A to the 140. You will need to use the tube that slides to engage the PTO from the 140.

The A swinging drawbar crossbar is not "quick attach" style. The holes on the ends are not slotted nor countersunk. You may be able to put it on the 140, but may not be as easy as it sounds.

Dan: That makes it a whole lot easier. Swinging drawbar tongue will work as you already have the U bar. It's only 39, 40 and 41 that PT0 and belt pulley are different. Probably not that long, but your safe with 45. Be careful with the belt pulley to get the shimes right.

Blade will be a direct bolt up, as will the wheel weights.

Dan: How much of the drawbar do you plan to use. U drawbar mounts to final drives differently on an A. Swinging drawbar tongue should be the same. Belt pulley from some of the first A tractors is different. Blade mounting will fit, however if the blade was hand lift that part will require some modification.

If this happens to be from a Super A all will fit, drawbar, pulley and blade all a direct bolt up.

Question 1 yes

Question 2 yes, but remember there were several different shields depending on whether you had PTO only, PTO and belt pulley, etc.

Question 3 I dunno
