Kerry: Read what I said to Rusty, then call Van Oostrum's. Your lucky, you have a good CaseIH dealer. I realize it's being run by the next generation, however the fact Dad is restoring old Farmalls, keeps them on top of old iron.

I do not think that carb is original to that tractor, but I do think that Bendix and Zenith are the same company, or maybe Bendix bought out Zenith, or something like that. Anyhow, if you can find some more numbers, you should be able to get a kit for it.

Rusty: Interesting, just 6 weeks ago, I bought a needle valve and seat from CaseIH. What we found in parts, IH used two different Zenith carbs on 130, during it's two year production run. My carb did not have any ID on it other than Zenith, thus he had to bring in both needle valves and seats. They were very close in shape and size, but we were able to sort it out.

Could it be that when the 130s were built, one carb was actually Bendix and the other Zenith. Kerry's tractor is much lower serial number than mine, think he said 2668 and mine is 9313, 800 from the end.

hugh, I get easily confused when I try to figure out exactly what is SUPPOSED to be on those smaller Farmalls. I'm sure there is a good reason that they don't seem to follow any set pattern, but at times it would seem that 3 or 4 different makes and models of carburetors were dumped into a barrel, shaken up, and whatever came out next is what was put on the tractor as it journeyed down the assembly line.
