I recently picked up an M farmall that has what appears to be an aftermarket kit that allowed a J-70-F Cummins engine to be installed in it. Anyone know anything about these?

Thanks

Can't tell you much except they did repower some with a older cummings, can't remember the cummins engine model. Some cummings fellows told me parts were hard to get for that model engine. Don't know first hand though. Know a few farmall 450 had cummins power installed when brand new.

Cummins ordered the 450s without engines and put them in. IH didnt.

No intent was made to say IH installed engines, but see what you mean the way I typed it, it can be interpeded that way.
