Are they all interchangeable? I need a new one for my SMDTA. Found one for good price but the guy doesn't know what it came from for sure. Can't go look at it as its several states away. Thanks for your help.

yes all diesels have a dipstick. the oil pans should interchange.

Looking up the parts Numbers would do part of the task. caseih.com The other issue is oil checking methods Dip stick in the later tractors. JimN

I thought all Diesel had the screw in dip sticks, no ?

Jim, I have never seen a diesel with petcocks, I would be really surprised if there is one. Chuck
