I have been running bio in my 1086's for 5 years now. I started with a 5% blend and have gone up to 25%. No problems what so ever.

I dont have personal experience, or know of anyone who has a diesel tractor that does run it, but I run it in my truck, which is IH powered. I run B20 pretty much year round, but in the summer I have gone as high as B50 when its available here. Its not going to hurt anything, unless you run WVO at high %s, in fact it will help clean up the whole fuel system.

Corey, people don't always know what they're talking about, unfortunately. Farmers, like most, are busy people and they don't always have the time or the interest to research cutting edge technology themselves. They rely on what they hear from friends and neighbors, who rely on what they hear from friends and neighbors, who rely on what they hear from friends and neighbors... All it takes is for one person to get their facts mixed up, or to tell a good fish story, to set hundreds of people's minds about a particular technology.

This is how old wives' tales get created, and why there's a show called "Mythbusters" on television.
