I need help. I have bought a 1943 Farmall H with a cable operated 9-speed. I need to know how to identify what brand it is. I need to fix a clicking noise in transmission so I need a repair manual to fix please help. I have a regular repair manual so I need help with the 9-speed.

Yep most likely M&W. I have a pdf file of the parts breakdown I can forward you if it would be helpful plus a few pictures others have supplied as they tore into theirs.

Because it is cable operated. The HEISLER operated with a lever on the left side of the tranny
