I see in NV farmer post (finally Super a pictures) cultivators,is this a common set, are there other styles. I live in Nova Scotia "Canada" lots of Farmalls but cultivators are hard to come by. Have some people looking but no luck so far. I want to plant asparagus. Thanks Kerry

Hmmm! This seems to turning into a Nova Scotia post!

You might wanna try Chown Tractor Parts up in Sussex NB to see if Alton or Dave has a set of cultivators.

I might have a spare set myself, I"ll be coming down home in the spring, gonna become a "Valley" farmer in a few years.
I call it "The Reverse Hugh" migration!

There are culitvators out there. All depends on where you're looking and what they're worth to you. I also live in Nova Scotia and have a set of the tool bars but none of the ground engaging components. I'll send you an email. tractorsam

The universal mounting frame is harder to find than the tractor. I havent seen one for sale around here for the last two years but I know one went for $800.00 two years ago.

What you can change is the tool bar assemblies that attach to the universal mounting frame. The 416 I think is the most common around here.

I wanted a 616 tool bar for mine but the guy wanted $100.00 for each bar and I decided that was to much.

Here is mine with the 144 cultivator.

Good morning, Junkmanduff, where in N.S. do you live?? Will agree with you these cultivators are hard to find. A person was in the my yard the other day and said a tractor he had just purchased had a set installed on the tractor. Prephaps I should make him an offer on these cultivators. My wife occassionally advises me we are living in the "city" and at times I have too much junk laying around the yard. I try to classify my junk as "old antique iron" Cheers, Murray

Yes that is a common one for a SA but that model doesent fit an H,B,C for instance. That cult ony did one row other models did two or more. There were veggie models for the smaller tractors that would do narrow spacings from 12in on up.
