Tight thing, though. I had to put a board against the front end, lean against the block, and reach over and pull the tool toward me to crack it loose.

Even then, (with it's own O-ring), it took some 'convincing' to talk it out of the bore.

Hey Greg, too bad you don't live in the next town. I'd run 'er over!

That looks darn good to me.

Pity they changed them at some point. Mine uses a bushing that surrounds the valve like the check valves have. The catch is it's larger and so I need a larger piece of hose and bolt to remove it (I hope). Wouldn't be life if it wasn't interesting. tractorsam

I used the same bolt, a 5/16" washer under the head, and wrapped a strip of inner tube around 3/8 fuel line. A little cut and try will get the strip the right length so it just fits in the bushing. A wrap of electrical tape keeps it in place.

I've got some other sizes of tube now so I'll have to give it a go later on. I do have some old inner tubes around so that is always a possibility. tractorsam
