My parents came to visit their new grand-daughter, so while Dad was here I put him to work engineering and building some cabinet storage in the front of my garage. The cabinets are 3' deep, 4' high and 19' wide. It is nice to actually have a garage to park vehicles in and still have room to work on the side. Garage is 28' wide but the 19' where the cabinets are is 4' deeper than the other side (laundry room portrudes into the garage), so I have a work space that is about 8' by 14' (that space includes a sink, water heater, and water softener).

Anywho, some pictures:

And my work space that still needs some organization and a work bench... plan to use my tax refund for a nice butcher block top steel work bench.

Congratulations on the little one. Mine was born in October. I built more storage and workspace for myself in the garage too.

And then the baby stuff took over. Stroller, swing, exersaucer, bouncy seat, and most recently the high chair. She"s 5 months old, and now eats like her pop. Cereal all over her face and the high chair. She eats faster than you can shovel. When the cereal bowl is empty? She"s pissed, bangs on the high chair tray.

Every day she gets a little bigger and a little older. Enjoy everyday. Yes, even the one"s without much sleep. In 5 short months, I"m already wondering what happened to the cute little bald headed thing I brought home.

If you haven"t started on the pole barn, nows a good time. Before you wonder if its possible to cram another thing into the garage. lol...

Well, Hugh, I've got a Maytag single cylinder in a box here to get started on in the next couple of weeks... have a week off in March to spend!

Probably bring another stationary engine back at the end of the summer, looking to rent a U-haul trailer and pull back with the van to get more of our knick-knacks from ND.

As for tractors, maybe late next fall or the next year bring the A down here to be rebuilt and repainted. After that one, I have two H's and a W-9 that need going over OR I might bring my 51 IH pickup down and get going on a proper restoration of it. Hard to say, depends on fuel prices and a million other unknowns...

As to more names on the plaque, I know Jess wants another and I wouldn't mind it too badly... we'll see. :)

You mean copy our design? Went into the studs with the bottom all along that wall, top 2x4 is screwed into a truss. Seems to be pretty solid so far!

You can never have enough storage space. The wife filled up 2 eight foot sections of cabinets I put in my shop that I "donated" to her. Left myself 5 sections
