Does anyone know how the heck you get the exhaust manifold off a 484? I got the rebuild kit today but I cant get on some of the nuts because there is a tube for the cooling system bolted in there with it. The manual doesnt help at all.

Hi Michael, a few years ago a a man from the UK called Clanger had the same problem with his 484 D179 engine and here is his solution:
Well I got it sorted. I found a cranked ring spanner that allowed me to get the last exhaust manifold nut off and then the water exit manifold.

Good luck
